Delightful and Cute!!
This is a delightful and cute book for all fans of The Lion King and Nala alike. Nala and Simba are playing a game of hide-and-seek. When Simba doesn't follow the rules, Nala gets angry at him and the two friends go off in search of new playmates. Later, Simba learns the importance of following rules and Nala learns that being stubborn and pushy doesn't always help in the end. In all, the book is great and I recommend it to all readers.

best little collectables
Several years ago, as a baby-boomer looking to become collector of something, anything- I found "Little Little Golden Books". If you love little things, like I do, then you must get these books. They're the perfect collectable; they're small and easy to store, they're very inexpensive, and they are becoming harder to come by! All the books contain the full text of the original Golden title but they're tiny and adorable! Of course, my favorites are the Disney titles, so this set with the figurine is the BEST! You wait and see; these little books and especially the boxed sets will be worth their weight in gold someday. Until then, curl up with your little one and enjoy the Disney books you loved as a kid.

Displays of Innocents

Not very innocent!
This is one of the few (very few) books that really deliver what they promise. Very simple: just a selection of stories, but man are they hot! Good ideas, plenty of variety and people that you feel you could know. Roll on the next one!

Eagles of America
Published in School & Library Binding by Holiday House (September, 1995)
Authors: Dorothy Hinshaw Patent and William Munoz
Average review score:

School library
Dorothy Patent's book joins the other books in this genre for kids at the head of the list. The text is clear, interesting, and informative. The photos are wonderful. It has already been permanently borrowed from the library by a young fan. Our school is in Western Montana and the youngsters have a great interest in books about animals native to this part of the country. Ms Patent's other books are well-read here!

Earth Science Teacher reviews a Good Book
I have used this book once for a course I teach for K-8 pre-service teachers called: Earth Science for Teachers. It is only 1 hour so I can't use all the content in the book, but, it is an excellent content reference for people who are expected to know and teach more and more content every year. Read this book for your own fun, or, use it as a reader friendly resource with excellent pictures and friendly assignments.

Earth Took of Earth: A Golden Ecco Anthology
Published in Hardcover by Ecco (July, 1900)
Author: Jorie Graham
Average review score:

Earth took of Earth -- a great anthology
This anthology is a must-have for those who love poetry. Jorie has compiled a wide range of poems, from the anonymously written (ca 1000, UK) "Earth Took of Earth" to a selection from Derek Walcott's "The Schooner Flight", and everywhere in between. Jorie's introduction sums it up well: "The poets here are rich and poor, they die young, they live to be old, they are gay, straight, married, consumptive, alcoholic, secular, religious -- their fathers beat them, their mothers scare them, they are loved madly, they are raped and tortured, they live quiet domestic lives, they die in trenches, they live in exile, in jail, in pretty suburban houses -- they teach, sell shoes, work in gas stations, in museums, in defense factories, in kitchens -- they are explorers, seducers, upstanding citizens, fascists, Marxists, visionaries, lunatics. They live all this out in one beautiful everchanging language -- of vocables, of forms, of assumptions, of beliefs, of idioms -- all sinewed by depth of soul, love of words, and an extraordinary capacity for original honest emotion." This book is a deligt to read as well as an excellent resource.
